Origo in a few words

Origo was founded in April 2014. Its creation stems from a simple observation: France is one of the last consumers of renewable electricity in Europe.

With seven years’ experience in the electricity markets and in charge of one of the largest Guarantees of Origin portfolios in Europe, Ivan Debay created Origo to enable French companies and local authorities to better understand and access renewable electricity.

In 2022, Origo starts supplying biogas Guarantees of Origin in order to cover the gas consumption of companies and act on their entire energy perimeter. Origo brings together unique expertise in complementary fields. It offers companies and local authorities support in their purchasing process, from the definition of their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) or sustainable development project to the regulatory and legal aspects of Guarantees of Origin.
